Club Med’s Live Music Month Launches Fall Travel Season
Live Bands and Guest DJs at “Turkoise Rocks” Entertain Throughout September
Miami (May 4, 2009) – Club Med has teamed up with a group of talented musicians to celebrate “Turkoise Rocks” Sept. 1-30, 2009 at Club Med Turkoise, Turks and Caicos. As part of Club Med’s all-inclusive package, “Turkoise Rocks” will showcase guest DJs, local island performers and cover bands nightly at the resort’s intimate shore side theater.
Guests are invited to revel in live rock ‘n’ roll performances with tribute bands covering the sounds of U2, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Guns N’ Roses, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Kiss and others. “Turkoise Rocks” is available for booking now at a rate of $180 per night, per person, based on double occupancy.

The music-filled month follows the resort’s recent successful launch of “Turkoise Rocks,” April 18-24 which featured Big Head Todd and the Monsters and special guest Hazel Miller among other performers. September’s “Turkoise Rocks” represents the second live music festival in a series of special interest weeks that Club Med will offer throughout 2009.
